Mental Health and Abuse Blog
From 2022 to 2023, I was trapped in an abusive relationship. Luckily, I escaped, but I'm still left carrying many of the psychological wounds that my abuser inflicted on me.
Because of this, I decided that I'd like to start writing about abuse, and about mental health in general, when I find myself lost in my own feelings. I don't know how often I will write for this, but you can find all of my mental health posts below. I hope that other people can find guidance and comfort in reading what I've written.
Please keep in mind that I am not a licensed professional. I am someone who spends a lot of time thinking about my own mental health, and I feel that a lot of my soul-searching can be valuable for other people, but I highly encourage that if you are struggling, you look for resources from people with a background in psychology in addition to reading any of writing. It can be valuable to know that you're not alone, but professionals are trained to help you overcome baggage in a way that I am not.
